Lead the Next Phase of Growth in Enterprise Tax Technology
Marosa is a fast-growing leader in VAT compliance and e-invoicing technology, helping multinational organizations navigate increasingly complex global tax and regulatory requirements. As part of Wolters Kluwer, we combine the agility and innovation of a scale-up with the reach, resources, and credibility of a global technology and information services leader.
We are looking for an experienced sales leader to shape the next phase of our commercial growth.
This is a unique opportunity to join a business with strong product-market fit, an established international customer base, and significant market tailwinds driven by accelerating regulatory change. Rather than inheriting a mature sales machine, you will play a defining role in building a more proactive, predictable, and scalable commercial organization while preserving the entrepreneurial culture that has fueled Marosa's success to date.
You will lead an international, fully distributed sales organization, engage directly with strategic customers, and help position the business for continued growth across Europe and beyond.
The Opportunity
As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and developing Marosa's commercial organization while driving sustainable enterprise growth.
You will bring structure, coaching, accountability, and commercial rigor to a successful business that is now entering its next stage of maturity. Working closely with senior leadership across Marosa and Wolters Kluwer, you will help strengthen our go-to-market approach, increase new-logo acquisition, enhance forecasting and operational excellence, and build a high-performing sales culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being close to customers, participating in key opportunities, coaching teams in real time, and helping turn strategy into execution.
What You'll Do
Build a Scalable Commercial Engine
Establish a disciplined and repeatable sales operating model across pipeline generation, qualification, forecasting, negotiation, and execution.
Improve sales visibility, forecasting accuracy, and performance management across territories and teams.
Strengthen proactive new business acquisition while continuing to maximize expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Build the foundations for long-term international growth and scale.
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team
Lead, coach, and develop a distributed European sales organization.
Create a culture of accountability, growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Establish clear performance expectations, development pathways, and coaching rhythms.
Build and maintain a high-performing sales organization through coaching, development, and accountability.
Drive Enterprise Growth
Partner directly with strategic customers and prospects.
Support complex enterprise sales cycles and key negotiations.
Build trusted relationships with senior finance, tax, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Help increase Marosa's market presence and commercial impact across existing and new markets.
Influence Beyond Sales
Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Services, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
Provide insight from customers and the market to shape commercial priorities and future growth opportunities.
Help navigate the transition from a founder-led organization to a scaled international business operating within a larger global enterprise.
What We're Looking For
Experience
Significant experience leading B2B enterprise software or technology sales organizations.
Proven success building, scaling, or professionalizing commercial teams and operating models.
Experience selling complex solutions to senior finance, tax, compliance, ERP, or other enterprise stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead through change while maintaining growth and engagement.
Strong experience developing sales talent and building high-performing teams.
Leadership Profile
You are likely to be:
A Head of Sales, Sales Director, VP Sales, Regional Vice President, Commercial Director, or similar leader with experience leading teams of comparable scale.
Equally comfortable discussing strategy with executives and coaching individual contributors.
A builder who enjoys creating structure and scaling successful businesses.
A leader who stays close to customers and is willing to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Effective operating across both entrepreneurial and corporate environments.
Domain Experience
Experience within tax technology, e-invoicing, compliance, fintech, regtech, ERP, finance transformation, or adjacent enterprise software environments is valuable but not essential.
Why Join Marosa?
Lead a business with strong market demand and an established multinational customer base.
Shape the next phase of growth in one of the fastest-evolving areas of enterprise compliance technology.
Combine the pace and ownership of a scale-up with the resources and backing of Wolters Kluwer.
Influence commercial strategy while remaining close to customers, teams, and execution.
Play a visible leadership role with meaningful impact on the future growth of the business.
Working Arrangement
Europe remote. Regular time with the team in Spain and the UK, with travel to client sites across Europe.
