We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your backend development career, working alongside experienced engineers on real products used by multinational clients.
What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with guidance from senior engineers.
Help build and improve RESTful APIs consumed by internal and external clients.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following team standards.
Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback to grow as an engineer.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Learn about system architecture, performance, reliability, and security in a production environment.
Contribute to deployment and monitoring tasks as part of your professional development.
What We Are Looking For:
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Around 1–2 years of experience with Java and object-oriented programming (internships, traineeships, or professional experience all count).
Familiarity with Spring Boot or willingness to learn it quickly.
Basic understanding of REST APIs and how web applications communicate.
A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a supportive team.
Bonus:
Personal or academic projects showcasing backend development skills.
Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
Interest in Docker, CI/CD, or cloud environments.
